This.... site.... is... BEAUTIFUL!

It is so amazing (esp the maps) and I thank you for putting such care into it. I have hiked a section (North Adams to Glenncliff) and I have plans to do the whole thing.

I am giving a quick presentation on what I have done and what the trail is all about... This site will be a major portion of it, especially the maps.

Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for this amazing site!

As a section hiker, I hope you remember the section hikers you met "having the time of their lives" and consider hiking the rest of the trail as one of us. I know you would enjoy NH and ME, so you could even skip CT, MA, and VT if you wanted. Think about it.

Hey, I just stumbled upon your site after seeing your post on Whiteblaze.net

I looked through your photos and was amazed to find out that I met you guys at Icewater Springs shelter in the Smokies on March 7th,8th. The rain that night was unreal.

I'm glad to see that your still hiking. Goodluck with the rest of your hike!

Noooooo....... don't quit now. Nice trail is only a few states away.. New York put the grinders on us too - some trying days when we went through there last year. Once you hit tom levardi's home in Dalton MA, things get a lot better...

Take some time off the trail but don't quit yet. 2 weeks back home and you'll be ITCHING to go back...... (i think)

but yes, make the best decision. Sinage stopped last year about 200 miles short of Katahdin, but she is finishing this year. Good luck with whatever endeavor you next approach-you will be a different person no matter how much of the trail you complete.

I have been following your trek for several months. I check the website daily to see if there is anything new. I have really enjoyed reading about your time on the trail.

I'm sorry to see you leave the trail but you need to do what is best.

Best of luck to the two of you in your future endeavors.
